Channel Court Shopping Centre, Kingston

Channel Court is a sub regional excellent shopping centre located on the Channel Highway, Kingston, Tasmania.  The centre has undergone a complete transformation. Tasmania's largest Big W was opened at the shopping centre on April 5, 2006.  Channel court is one of the largest shopping Centres in Tasmania.

Inverawe Native Gardens

Brookfield Vineyard/Restaurant

Mona is a 'must see' when in Southern Tasmania and we are only 30 minutes away.

Peter Murrell Reserve
We are close to the  Peter Murrell Reserve and that is of interest to bird lovers as there are many rare species in and around the reserve and indeed at Channel Views too. "The Reserves represent an important area in terms of natural and cultural heritage, recreational activities and educational values."

The Beach Restaurant and cafe/bar
The Beach Restaurant in the Hobart suburb of Blackmans Bay provides everything from a casual bistro style cafe/bar dining experience to wedding functions for up to 100 people.

Bruny Island
Bruny Island was named after Rear Admiral Bruni D'Entrecasteaux who visited in 1792-93. It was first sighted by Abel Tasman in 1642.

Huon Valley

Tahune Airwalk
A spectacular treetops walkway that is about 70 minutes drive south of Kingston.

D’Entrecasteaux Channel
An excellent drive to the Huon is on the coast road from Kingston.

Australian Antarctic Headquarters
Just south of Kingston on the Channel Highway. They are open for inspection weekdays between 9.00 a.m.-4.00 p.m. (except public holidays).

North West Bay Golf Club
An excellent 18 hole golf course only 5 minutes away.
